The question is not, “Can you?”
The question is, “Did you say you would?”
Either don’t make promises or die trying to keep them.
Having a middle ground between those two choices is a swamp that mires down progress, pollutes trust, and suffocates meaningful relationships.
The ONE THING for today: Nothing can compensate for the lost moral authority that comes with being a promise-breaker.
