One of our deepest desires is to be “wanted” (to be included) and the person adapt at making people feel wanted, welcomed, valued, respected, and included will never lack for influence and a place to serve.
Virtually everyone will agree with me on this, but so few are truly committed to it. Why? Because they are so focused on being included themselves that they forget about others.
The ONE THING for today: Even if you feel like a fish out of water yourself, purposefully look for the “other” unwanted person in the room and find a way to fold them into your sphere of influence. By doing this you have solved two problems and are on your way to a life of meaning and influence.
