What will the future look like?

What will the future look like?  Won’t you like to know?!  (We all would.)

Unfortunately, no human being has the answer to that question.  But there is one thing about the future that I do know: Basically, “The future” is history that has not happened yet. 

Thus, while you cannot define what the future will be, you can help design what the future will be.    

What will the history books record about the next 100 years?  I don’t know, but I do know that you can have a role in what is recorded.

The ONE THING for today: One day you will be history and how you’ve lived your life today will help define what that history will be.  So, be intentional about the gift of today—help design a history worth reading about and, more importantly, worth emulating.
