Backseat drivers…

Your passions are flighty friends.  At any given moment, what you feel can change, misinform you and betray you.

Let sound judgement be your co-pilot and let your passions be backseat drivers.  When they are right, listen to them; when they are wrong, ignore them.

Two good “sound judgement” questions to start your day with are:

(1) What absolutely has to be done today?

(2) What does a win look like for this day?

The ONE THING for today: What has to be done, has to be done no matter how you feel, and a good solid win counts even on a bad day.  String together a few wins and the emotions have a tendency to turn positive, no matter how tough the going is.
