What’s Your Opinion?

There is nothing inherently wrong in keeping up with how many “views” and “likes” you get.

Who doesn’t feel good when others join with you in “liking” that absolutely precious picture/video of your child or grandchild performing some amazing feat or expounding some incredible wisdom for the ages. (“Loves” are even better.)

But counting views and likes must never be the roadmap for your life.

While making decisions by consensus is helpful, it must never be the goal.

Moor your decisions and lifestyle to God’s call on your life and His eternal and never-changing standards.  That is how to build for eternity, long after the opinions of today have passed away into the dustbin of the trivial.
