The regular and wise use of those two little words will change your life.
It is so easy to make plans and commitments; they just roll off our tongues.
However, most people’s plans and commitments are like splashing water in the pool—there’s a lot of noise and movement but little if any progress.
Taking the time to add the words “so that” will get you out of the pool and moving toward something that really matters.
And sometimes, when we honestly examine the real motive of why we are making certain plans and commitments those two little words will stop us in our tracks for, truth be known, the real reason and potential consequences behind our plans are not good.
- The ONE THING for today: Be honest with yourself. Before jumping into something, honestly examine why you are considering that jump and the consequences of that jump. An honest answer to the two little words, “so that” will go a long way in helping you do this.
Revelation 3:11 (NLT)
11 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown.
