Don’t be a fortune teller and declare defeat before you even begin.
Do something.
Take the next step.
Who knows, after you take that next step the one to follow may become obvious.
Whatever you do, don’t concede your life to the circumstances around you. Even a life sentence (marriage, work, the body you are living in, etc.) doesn’t mean your life is over—do something, take the next step.
Don’t wait until you have a million to give; give the two pennies you have now and see what harvests of gold your generous faith may return someday.
Put what you already know into practice and if you’re walking in complete darkness throw the dart anyway—who knows, you may hit the bullseye anyway.
- The ONE THING for today: Bottom line, if you can’t get close enough to God to see his face, touch the hem of his garment.
Matthew 9:20-21 (NKJV)
20 And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. 21 For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.”
Good word for today especially. Jackie’s cancer number were up a bit and that has made her feel bad all day. Sure would be nice if you or Sonja could give her a call. I know that would cherr her up.
Love you guys.
