- Genesis 22:5 (NKJV) And Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you.”
Don’t despair if there is someone special in your life that is not sharing all of your life. Sometimes God takes you places that everyone can’t go. However, if you will faithfully follow God’s plan, when you come back you’ll be better for it and so will they.
And another thing, don’t let people hold you back from following God with your whole heart. Sometimes God gives you “the lad” to go with you and sometimes, like Elijah; you have to go alone into the wilderness (1 Kings 17:1-4). But either way, your destiny and the destiny of many others hinges on whether or not you’re will to obey.
- The ONE THING for today: You can’t take everyone with you, but when God tells you to go—go.
Exodus 33:14 (NKJV)
14 And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
