“Jews have not preserved the ancient monuments; they have retained the ancient moments.”
— Man Is Not Alone: A Philosophy of Religion by Abraham Joshua Heschel
I strongly encourage you to journal.
Don’t make it a mammoth burden, just jot down in a journal (or a file on your computer) a few lines about your day.
Answer these two questions:
- What is worth remembering about this day?
- What did I learn today?
Faithfully recording the answers to these two questions each day (and reviewing them annually) will be of inestimable value to you through the years.
The ONE THING for today: “If you would not be forgotten, as soon as you are dead and rotten, either write things worth reading, or do things worth writing.” _Ben Franklin
Good reminder. Thanks for sharing.
