What waiting does NOT mean

“Suspending judgment does not mean suspending operations.”

— God in the Dark: The Assurance of Faith Beyond a Shadow of Doubt by Os Guinness

Waiting does not mean wasting.

Just because you’ve hit a wall,

Don’t have an answer for something,

Don’t know what to do about an issue,

Doesn’t mean your entire life has come to a standstill.

In those areas of uncertainty, it is important to not get ahead of yourself.  Doing something to just be doing it is not wise.  But…

You are certain about something…

Keep your focus and your efforts there while you’re waiting.

The ONE THING for today: Here’s a question that should be asked regularly – “While I am waiting, what is the wisest thing I can do?”
