Who is your dad’s God?

So Israel…offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac. _Genesis 46:1

If you’re not already, hopefully someday you will be old. And then one day you will be dead.

(I know…we’re getting off to a rather downer start. But hang with me a moment more…)

So here’s the question I want to leave with you today. Who or what would your children, grandchildren, and closest friends say your God is?

When they’re scrambling around trying to find their footing in this life, trying to find something and someone to believe in. Will they get any worthy guidance from your life?

If they get their answer from your life on what to sacrifice their life for, what to build their life on, and what to make the pursuit of their life…

What would the answer be?

The ONE THING for today: A legacy can be a lot of things, but there is no greater legacy than leaving behind a clear testimony – in word and deed – of who your God is.
