Ever learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. _2 Timothy 3:7
*****
Being a life-long learner does not mean you live on campus forever.
I remember back in my college days older guys who kept hanging around campus. They’d take just enough courses to be allowed to stay. Of course I realize now they were not that old, but they were indeed to old to be on campus.
There comes a time that you have to push off from the bank and get into the river of life and get going.
Being a life-long learner does not mean you live on campus forever.
Accumulating knowledge for knowledge sake can be a fun pastime, but is must never be the main thing.
Knowledge is to be leveraged, used, applied, invested, given, sown.
There was a time in your life when learning was the goal of the day–it’s called “going to school.” But there comes a time that, as important as it is, learning more is not the main thing. The main thing is to take what you’ve learned and stewart it toward making a positive difference in the world.
The ONE THING for today: Be teachable and looking to learn, but don’t sell yourself short…you’ve already got something to bring to the table. Step up and make a difference today.
