Heavy Stuff

“Nothing makes a journey more difficult than a heavy backpack filled with nice but unnecessary things. Pilgrims travel light.” – Randy Alcorn, The Treasure Principle

Is it just me?

I don’t remember exactly the place or the time, but somewhere along the way a lot of my stuff started getting heavy, burdensome, and bothersome. Most of it just doesn’t matter to me anymore.

The longer I’ve lived the heavier “stuff” gets. Now, in most areas, less is best.

The last few years I’ve been on a mission to travel lighter; it has sure made the journey easier and freed up room in my life (and heart) for more of the things that truly matter…forever.

The ONE THING for today:

Don’t just travel, travel lighter than you did yesterday.
