“Before I got married I had six theories about raising children. Now, I have six children and no theories.” — John Wilmot

When you were born you were identified as a human being. And that is very important.
Matter of fact, whatever your parent’s theory of parenting was, their ultimate task was to help mold you into becoming the best human being you could be.
But…
Eventually being a good person is not enough; you also need to be a human doing.
As important as being a person of character is, the biggest difference you will make in life is not going to be all the commendable things you did not do, the difference will come by all the things you actually did.
For example, not being a liar is commendable. But if you truly want to make a difference, eventually you will have to speak for, stand for, and even fight for the truth.
The ONE THING for today: Your character and personality flavors everything you do, but eventually you’ve got to get in the kitchen and start cooking if you want to actually help with the hunger and needs around you.
