The Miraculous in the Monotonous

In many ways, God must have the heart of a child for he delights in “do it again”.

Day after day our universe is fine-tuned to consistently revolve, evolve, and repeat it’s beautiful dance.

For example, every sunrise and sunset is uniquely different yet the same.

The seasons pass before our eyes year after year with predictable regularity and the best we can do is say, “My how time flies.”

The ONE THING for today: O precious Holy Spirit, please slow us down enough to see the miraculous in the monotonous and to be grateful.
