My June 29, 2021 blog is about kindness. Here’s another one from 2013 about a driver who took the long way home.

The day of my father-in-law’s funeral and burial was a sad, sad day.
However, I’ll never forget the drive back home after the funeral. My wife and I were in the “family car” that the funeral home had provided along with my mother-in-law and others. Slowly the driver began to make his way back to my mother-in-law’s home. Like the driver, the conversation was slow and sad.
