My God shall supply all my need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 4:19)

Amen!
I can truly say, beyond my wildest imagination, that God has faithfully supplied all my needs. I am amazed and grateful!
But in looking back over the years I have learned something…
Most often the supply that would meet my needs was over there.
“Over there” being things like…
Initiating a new relationship or walking away from a current relationship,
Starting something new and unfamiliar or stopping something comfortable and familiar.
Bottom line, I have learned that God’s promise to supply our needs usually involves movement and change from us.
Passivity is seldom a virtue in God’s universe. He rewards and honors faith and works.
Sitting in our easy chair and waiting on God to fill our cup is usually a recipe for disappointment. Most often I have found that our Shepherd leads us to still waters and we have to fill my own cup.

The ONE THING for today: God is waiting “over there” with the provisions, answers, and solutions to what you need. The question is, what are you going to do about it.
