My God shall supply all my need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 4:19)
Amen!
I can truly say, beyond my wildest imagination, that God has faithfully supplied all my needs. I am amazed and grateful!
But in looking back over the years I have learned something…
Often the supply that would meet my needs was over there.
Getting my needs supplied has often meant that I had to walk away from what was familiar and comfortable and step into the unknown and different (and difficult!).
Bottom line, I have learned that God’s promise to supply my needs usually involves me taking action.
Passivity is seldom a virtue in God’s universe. He rewards and honors faith and works. Sitting in our easy chair and waiting on God to fill our cup is usually a recipe for disappointment. Most often I have found that my Shepherd leads me to still waters and I have to fill my own cup.
The ONE THING for today: The supply for your needs is available but it will probably require you taking a step toward the supply. What action do you need to take today to step towards God’s promise in your life?

👍How faithful He is in guiding us as we “walk over there.” C
