Five years ago today I was doing something I never thought I’d do…at least until I retired. Five years ago today I was packing in order to move away from my home and my church home after twenty years.
In this video I list four lessons I learned during that milestone transition time in my life and ministry. They will serve you well no matter the stage or season of life you are going through.
They are:
- Count the cost of the calling.
- You own nothing, you are a steward of some of what God owns.
- Be a good historian.
- Be a life-long learner.
