If you have to like someone to work with them, vote for them, agree with them, or do anything constructive, you are going to greatly limit what you do in life.
Let’s be honest, there’s a lot of people out there who are hard to like.
However, that does not mean you cannot accomplish something worthwhile with them. We are called to love everyone but there is no mandate that we have to like them.
Sometimes you have to hold your nose and jump in with someone you don’t particularly like, because the need is far greater and the goal is far more worthy than your personal preference of who you’d rather do life with at the moment.
The ONE THING for today: Be likeable, by all means; but do not make liking someone the litmus test for getting along with them and speaking well of them.
