When you don’t have enough time

If you know me, you know that I have given the subject of not having enough time a lot of thought. And I’ve come to the conclusion that there are really only two reasons for not having enough time:

(1) Either we are trying to do more than God wants us to do.

• For God never asks more of you than you’re able to do, and he is never taken by surprise by the unexpected.

(2) Or, we’re trying to please someone else other than God. 

• Some people find it easier to say “No” to God than they do to others.

The ONE THING for today: Stop making excuses about not having enough time and take responsibility for pleasing God first and then let everything and everyone else have the time that is left over.
