Yesterday [read here] we reviewed the idea of finishing.
I stated…
The ONE THING for today: Before starting something, determine what has to happen for you to be finished. To fail to do that is to set yourself up to ultimately fail.
Today I’d like to add one thing to this idea of finishing.
Ideally, before you start, but at least somewhere along the way, be sure to answer this question: “Finished what?”
If you are not clear on what it is exactly you are finishing, soon your life will be nothing more than a long series of trivialities—finishing things for the sake of finishing them.
You were meant for more than working though a checklist, working for the weekend, hanging on until retirement, and living to a ripe old age just for the sake of living to a ripe old age.
Do what you do on purpose.
Don’t just finish, finish something…

Something worth giving your life for.
The ONE THING for today: Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. (John 19:30)
What is your “it” to be finished?
Yes and Amen!!!

Hey Jason! Will you help me with something. Try using the “follow” tab on the right side of my blog and see if it will allow you to enter your new email address. Please let me know if it works (or not). This would be helpful to know. Thanks!
