Remember a month ago when you stopped in the middle of your busy day, stretched your weary back and opined, “If only I had a few days to relax.”
Well now you do.
Maybe you’re the exception, but I’m not sure I’ve heard one person celebrate the fact that we get to stay home for awhile and it’s okay.
I guess the wise old world traveler was right who said, “If you don’t bring Paris with you, you won’t find it there.”
The ONE THING for today: Rest time is not waste time.

Thank you Pastor Kemp! For me and Brad, we have needed this rest. We pushed hard during our move and then closely followed with a trip to LV to see my sister. (I actually was relieved that I didn’t have to fly to Ft. Myers this year to play in the orchestra for Easter, where I would be just now).
Love the photo of the Eiffel Tower. Even though we felt things were rapidly closing up behind us, we were able to do all we had planned while in LV. Seeing my sister was the primary focus but we did get to celebrate a wonderful lunch in the Eiffel Tower Restaurant overlooking the Bellagio. We have gone so often that we are guaranteed a table by the huge windows.
Although we have never been to Paris, we do carry the idea of Paris with us.
Thank you so much for the great word today!
Blessings, Claudia
