When you judge something as good or bad, what you’re actually doing is making a determination in a moment of time based on the information you have at the time and judged by the motives that you attribute to the people involved.
But will it still be good tomorrow, or next month, or next year?
Actually, you do not know fully all the motives and moving parts involved in the situation you are naming as “good” or “bad”.
And you for sure don’t know the ultimate outcome when all the threads of this life will be pulled together at the judgement seat of God. Only then will you know for sure if something was really good or bad.
In the meantime, a little more humility is warranted…and also hope.
The ONE THING for today: Do not be so swift to name something as bad and do not become to wedded to something you think is good. Instead, see it all as a part of the process that God is taking you through to get you to His ultimate good.
