Three-time Pulitzer Prize winner, Carl Sandburg, was known as one of America’s most famous poets.
He claimed to have written the shortest poem ever written in English. It goes like this:
Born.
Troubled.
Died.
With all due respect to Mr. Sandburg, but why so negative?
It appears Mr. Sandburg never got out of the Book of Job; I’ve made it to the Gospel of John, and through Jesus Christ the story line has been rewritten.
Think I’ll try my hand at writing a little poetry:
Born.
Born-again.
Heaven.
Amen!!
