In this fast-paced, rapidly changing world we live in, long-range planning is mostly an illusion.
Instead, (1) stay focused on your mission (doing your part in FINISHING the Great Commission), (2) prioritize constantly (you can’t disciple everyone and do everything), and (3) leverage what you’ve got now towards achieving your mission (by the time you raise your budget, develop the perfect program, and recruit the ideal staff, you will have missed your opportunity).
Remember, “The Plan” will be more of a general strategic blueprint which is regularly reviewed and amended as needed.
Bottom line, people are moving targets always. If you hope to help them and win them to Jesus Christ (including your own family), you will need to be flexible in how you minister, but firm in why (John 10:10).

John 10:10b (NKJV)
I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Excellent counsel Bishop!
