Why are you playing it safe?
Your “respectable” fears (call it prudence, being careful, or whatever) is growing you a harvest of regrets.
Be fearful if you must, but, like dipping your ice cream cone in warm chocolate, let your fears solidify your courage so that you go on the offence.
Time is slipping away. It’s time you get up and do something that matters. Are you going to be more impressed with bad men, bad circumstances, and lack of resources than you are of our good and great God?
Are you going to settle for paddling around in the harbor when you were meant for the open seas?
- The ONE THING for today: The Bible declares, “If God be for you who can be against you?” It’s time you start acting like that is true! Be wise, do your homework, but have the courage to get up and get going!
