Now that you know…

John 13:3-4 (NKJV)

Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God, rose from supper

There is always a moral element to knowledge that requires action.  It is not good enough to just know something, once you know something action is required.

God has brought you to this point so that you can do something.

All the life-experience that you’ve accumulated—the tests and trials, the failures and successes, the lessons learned—all this has been for a purpose.

As someone has said, “You can sit there and squawk, lie there and talk, or you can take up your bed and walk.”  Choose the latter.

You may not know everything to do but God has given you enough knowledge to do something.  Take the next step and then the next step that should be taken will reveal itself.

  • The ONE THING for today: You didn’t just stumble over what you know, God has set you up; it’s time to rise and take action.

Proverbs 24:11-12 (NKJV)

11 Deliver those who are drawn toward death,
And hold back those stumbling to the slaughter.
12 If you say, “Surely we did not know this,”
Does not He who weighs the hearts consider it?
He who keeps your soul, does He not know it?
And will He not render to each man according to his deeds?

This weekend we will be leading a worship service and I have realized that He has spent the last 5 years prepping and preparing us for this. God has refined us for this opportunity. How exciting to see it come to this! So, here we go…
