A sure-fire strategy for success

sower“Strategy…an approximate course of action that you frequently revisit and redefine, according to shifting market conditions.” _Jack Welch, Winning, p.166

“Figuring it out” is not the goal—you’ll never completely and finally figure it out.

The sure-fire strategy for success begins with faithfulness…

…faithfulness to the right things is the objective for…

…faithfulness to the right things eventually produces the right results.

Remember, God thinks like a farmer. He didn’t create the city of Eden and place man in it; he created a garden. Therefore, I encourage you to think like a farmer also. Keep sowing the right seeds (deeds, thoughts, words) and trust God for the right harvest.

It is better to be an old-fashioned behind-the-times farmer who is sowing the right seeds than an up-to-date farmer with state-of-the-art equipment and the best strategy available (today) but who is sowing the wrong seed.

  • The ONE THING for today: Strategies for planting the seeds will almost certainly change, but the vital importance of planting the right seeds will not change–stay focused on that.

Galatians 6:7-9 (NKJV)

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
