Proverbs 3:5 (NKJV) Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;
You can know too much for your own good.
There are some things that are beyond you, you simply do not have the capacity to handle them.
Sometimes (probably most of the time) you must practice childlike faith and simply trust Father God to take of things.
What will happen if Hilary Clinton or Donald Trump is elected as president, who the next Supreme Court Justices will be and how they will vote on the things that matter to you, will terrorists drop a dirty bomb over the U.S.A. and usher us into another stone age, is the end of the world is just around the corner…these, and many other things are far beyond your pay grade.
There comes a time you must choose to not lean on your ability to understand and decide, like a child, to simply trust the keeper of your soul.
- The ONE THING for today: There’s a reason we don’t instruct our children to ask Jesus to come into their head—our heads are not big enough for God, but our heart is.
“Come into my heart,
Into my heart,
Come into my heart, Lord Jesus.
Come in today,
Come in to stay,
Come into my heart, Lord Jesus.”
