Can you see clearly?

Genesis 1:3-5 (NKJV)

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.

It was no accident that the first thing God did to set this planet up for life was to create light.   As long as the planet laid entombed in darkness it remained formless and void. But the moment light was created all kinds of possibilities made themselves obvious.

The same is true for you. Until you are willing to see things the way they really are you will never be able to create a new and better life.

And when I say “see things as they really are” I’m not talking about someone else—it’s easy to see other people’s issues; no, I am talking about how things with you really are.

  • The ONE THING for today: You’ve run long enough; look yourself squarely in the eyes and be honest with yourself. The moment you shine the light on your soul is the moment a new day will dawn over your future.

“Until a person can say deeply and honestly, ‘I am what I am today because of the choices I made yesterday,’ that person cannot say, ‘I choose otherwise.'”

_Stephen Covey
