Getting back into the routine

“Steady application may not be the most glamorous and exciting activity, but it is the secret to compounding your talents and resources for the greatest return.”

40-days of Prayer & Fasting is an exception—life is not meant to be lived like this forever. If it was then it would no longer be a fast.

This time tomorrow you will be going back to your routine and this is a good thing.

However, I do encourage you to be very intentional about how that routine looks.

Your season of spiritual renewal and growth should have you looking at life differently. So, in light of this new view on life, how are you going to live your life?

Routine is good. The steady application of daily wise action compounds to build a meaningful, orderly, and fulfilling life.  But don’t miss this opportunity to tweak the old routine and make it better or to be open to a brand new routine.

Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in this process throughout this last day of this year’s exception and exceptional 40-days of prayer fasting.

  • Prayer: Father God, what adjustments do I need to make to my lifestyle? Please help me physically, emotional/mentally and spiritually to live a godly lifestyle that brings the most honor to you and which leverages to the fullest my resources and talents for your Kingdom.

Ephesians 4:24 (NKJV)

…and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
