Philippians 4:19 (NASB) And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Now, either God is your supplier or he’s not.
If He truly is the one that supplies your every need then whatever you are going through right you can be assured you need it.
God’s greatest blessings often come in the wrappings of tests and trials.
God’s messengers can sometimes be the most obnoxious and miserable people (think Jonah).
So what are you going to do about it?
Are you going to whine and complain or are you going to trust that God is supplying all your need?
Are you going to beg and barter with God trying to get him to take away the pain or problem or are you going to trust that you need to learn something or that someone else needs to learn something by how you handle the situation?
This doesn’t mean you have to mindlessly take everything which comes your way–by all means present your case to God…but then hitch up your big-boy pants and get in the game.
- The ONE THING for today: Remember, you always have a choice when trouble comes. You can trust God and grow through the situation or you can fall on the floor and have a temper tantrum and stay the immature baby you are.
Job 13:15 (NASB)
15 “Though He slay me,
I will hope in Him.
Nevertheless I will argue my ways before Him.
