When you’re ready for a change

Genesis 35:1 (NKJV)

Then God said to Jacob, “Arise, go up to Bethel and dwell there; and make an altar there to God, who appeared to you when you fled from the face of Esau your brother.”

Are you stalled?

Is your life in a holding pattern—predictable, routine, going nowhere?

Have your dreams been put on ice and forgotten?

Have you downsized your expectations to the point that you are even a bore to yourself?

I can promise you, nothing is going to change until you change.

And the irony is that often the fastest way to move forward is to go back, go back to the point where you were the closest to God.

  • The ONE THING for today: Like Jacob, is God calling you back to that place where you once had sweet communion with Him?  You will never truly be at peace and you will never truly make progress until you do.
