Moving Day

Not a lot to say today, too many problems.

Yesterday was moving day—physically moving twenty years of stuff and memories from Fort Mill, SC to Simpsonville, SC.

Today is also moving day—physically unpacking all that stuff and memories and trying to find a place for them and turn someone else’s house into our home.

Wow, moving is hard on so many levels.  For the Christian, dying and moving to heaven appears to be so much easier; you just leave one day and your children and family have to deal with the stuff and memories.

Oh well, no easy way out Sonja and me today; we have a ton of problems facing us as we start a new day.  By problems I mean we have boxes (and I mean boxes) of stuff to unpack today.untitled

But I do have this one thought for you.  It occurred to me the day we finally arrive at having no problems will also be the day the coroner signs our death certificate.

  • The ONE THING for today: Problems let you know you’re still alive; live well.

Where no oxen are, the trough is clean; but much increase comes by the strength of an ox.

Proverbs 14:4 (NKJV)
