- Proverbs 29:7 (NKJV) The righteous considers the cause of the poor, but the wicked does not understand such knowledge.
Your mind is a mirror. As the wise man noted, one person sees a poor person and reaches out in compassion, another person can walk by a person in need and not notice a thing.
In other words, what you see is a reflection of who you are.
The good news is you can “reprogram” your mind. If people who love you, consistently admonished you about a weakness (Proverbs 29:1), if you keep banging your head against one of the commandments of God in your Bible reading, or if you keep finding yourself repeating a bad habit (2 Peter 2:22), then take this as a strong hint to starve your mind of something that is harmful to you and to feed your mind on something that is healthy to you.
- The ONE THING: You will never change until you change what you feed your mind.
Romans 12:2 (NKJV)
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
