So you care, that’s a good thing.
However, the real question is, “Do they know you care?”
There is a world of difference between saying to yourself, “I love that person” and saying to that person, “I love you.”
There is a vast gulf between saying, “I’d do nothing to hurt that person” and saying “I’m going to do something to help that person.”
The Bible states that God loves us (John 3:16) but it also shows that God demonstrated his love toward us (Romans 5:8); it was the demonstration of his love that made all the difference.
So you care…that’s not the question; the question is: Do they know you care.
- The ONE THING for today: Be an Onesiphorus to someone (see below)
2 Timothy 1:16-18 (NKJV)
16 The Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain; 17 but when he arrived in Rome, he sought me out very zealously and found me. 18 The Lord grant to him that he may find mercy from the Lord in that Day—and you know very well how many ways he ministered to me at Ephesus.
