The ONE THING for today

Make a difference by saying nothing.

  • Proverbs 23:23 (NKJV) Buy the truth, and do not sell it, also wisdom and instruction and understanding.

Honestly, most people are just like you—they don’t care what most people think. They’re busy, they’re overloaded with information already, they have other interest, and, if the truth be known, they’re not convinced that what you have to say will make all that big a difference anyway.

If you must talk then what you can do is ask for their thoughts and opinions on something. At the least, when you do this consistently you will build a relationship that will earn you the right to speak up in one of those rare moments when you truly must speak up.  And who know, when you ask other people what they think, you may actually learn something.

 

The ONE THING for today: Don’t waste your thoughts on those who don’t hunger for them.
