Every decision I have ever made about the future was wrong. In spite of my best efforts when I finally arrived to the point in the future that I had been planning for I discovered that it was not exactly the way I had foreseen it.
Does this mean we should not plan for the future? Absolutely not!
But remember this—only God knows for certain what the future holds.
Your best efforts are only projections, guesses, and speculation.
I have learned that things are seldom as bad as I thought they would be and, when committed to God, are always better than I thought they’d be.
So make your plans but don’t be surprised when you get there when things turn out different.
The good news about your future is, God is waiting for you, and He is right 100% of the time.
