- Luke 11:35 (NKJV) Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness.
There are two defining characteristic about Heaven and Hell. In Heaven there will be no night (Revelation 22:5) and in Hell there will be no day (Matthew 8:12, 22:13, 25:30). Only in this life is there both (Genesis 1:5).
Here we have a choice—we choose eternal day or eternal night.
- The ONE THING for today: Run everything you do through this test–“Is this going to draw me closer to the light or the darkness?”
It is the accumulation of these little daily choices that determine your final eternal choice.
Eternal day or eternal night \\ which will it be?
John 3:19 (NKJV)
19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
John 8:12 (NKJV)
12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
John 12:46 (NKJV)
46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.
