The ONE THING for today

Even in the Good Times…

  • 2 Timothy 4:21 (NKJV) Do your utmost to come before winter.

Today I feel an urgent need to remind you that winter is coming.  Before you know it the days will be short and the nights long.  The bitter winds of deep winter will moan around the corners of your home and heart and you will barely be able to remember these heady days of spring and sunshine.

It is the lot of Adam and Eve’s children to breeze right through the good times and then in times of adversity and trial cry out to God and question where He is.  The answer to that question is He’s always with us – even in the good times.

Whatever you do, don’t allow these beautiful days of spring to pass you by.  Savor them, smell them, celebrate them – they are gifts from God and reminders of his great love and beneficence.
