Hello everyone,
It’s 12:20 p.m. and I thought I’d take a break from my studies long enough to say “hello”. I pray that you are having a good day. All is quiet at the Kemp home today. Sonja and I both have been studying in preparation for tomorrow. (Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we prepare ourselves to preach and teach the Word tomorrow).
As you’re aware, today is our nation’s 233rd birthday. That’s young as far as nations go, but we’ve got a lot to be proud of. The United States of America, while making many mistakes along the way, has accomplished more in it’s short history that many great nations and empires. It is a reminder that what you build upon makes all the difference in how high and how fast you can build. No matter what some may say, our nation was built on strong Biblical principles. Those principles have served us well and as long as there is a faithful core of God-fearing and Bible-practicing citizens in our nation we will continue to prosper. So do not be distracted from simply staying focused on doing right and doing it with Christian love. When you do, you are being a great patriot!
On a personal note, I’ve added another picture today. It is shows the joy and glow of a brand new grandmother! David Lee was only a few minutes old in this photo.
Blessings to you,
