You can away…away from the Cross, a way from the Christ of the Cross.
Life happens…
You drift,
You question,
You reject,
And one day you realize you’ve walked away.
But you can return…
That’s one of the reasons we observe Good Friday every year. For every year (every day!) we need to be reminded that the Cross is still there. And Jesus Christ is still present and he still has a place for you and a part for you to play.
The ONE THING for today: I don’t know when you jumped on board with my Good Friday countdown…it’s not that important. What is important is that today is the day – Friday, April 7, 2023 – Good Friday. Hopefully your church, but surely a church is observing this most Holy Day, be there, look to the Cross, return to the Christ of the Cross.
