Recently I was confronted with a rather sticky situation that required a definitive decision from me.
I had never had this particular issue come up before. But I knew what to do…wait!
Quick decisions are almost always emotion-driven decisions based on what can I do to feel better quickly.
Wise decisions take time.
The best answers have to be mined–searched for diligently and that takes hard work.
When someone pressures you to make a quick decision, run for the door.
By all means make a decision when it is required, but not one second sooner. Give yourself as much time as possible to make the wisest decision possible.
