“Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and you shall be clean.” _Elisha to Naaman, 2 Kings 5:10

Never underestimate the compounding power of repeated discipline.
One hit wonders do happen, but nevertheless, they remain…one hit wonders.
Whether it is your personal life, a marriage, or professional life, to be able to experience sustained success and fulfillment, you will have to be extremely committed to a few good habits and disciplines and maintain them over the long haul.
It’s not glamorous, it doesn’t make the headlines, and there are seldom people cheering you on, but like the gold medal winner standing in the winner’s circle, if you hope to do more and be more than be occasionally lucky, it will require a whole lot of behind the scenes repeated discipline.
The ONE THING for today: Don’t grow weary with your commitments and disciplines. Just because people aren’t cheering doesn’t mean you’re not making progress.

Thank you so much, Pastor Kemp!!!! Claudia
