“Both what we do and what we neglect doing are subject to final judgment. For the habits we willfully neglect to amend, we remain responsible. For our negligence by which others are harmed, we are responsible.” _Thomas Oden, Life in the Spirit
Habits can harden.
Routine can become rigid.
Remember, we are always serving a greater cause, a greater good, and a greater One than ourselves and our own curiosity, comfort and fulfillment.
Being disciplined is not enough. Maintaining good habits is not enough. There must be a worthy point to it all.
The ONE THING for today: The end of the year is a good time to evaluate our habits and disciplines and amend them as needed.
