The ONE THING for today

Just start!

Sometimes you just have to start. 

If you wait until you know for certain that you should act, or until you are absolutely confident of the outcome or until you have a solid plan with a predetermined time table and have all the resources upfront that you will need…

…you will most likely never achieve anything significant. 

Most often you just have to jump into the deep end of the pool and start flailing away like your life depends on it.

The ONE THING for today:

What could you possibly do with your life if you’d just start?

Living and working in North & South Dakota and Montana affords Sonja and me the privilege of seeing some of the most amazingly beautiful landscape on the planet. But more than the places, it is the people who impress and inspire us. For example, the young man in this picture. His name is Dr. Jason Dillard. He and his wife (Legina) pastor two Native American churches in SD (LaPlant and Eagle Butte) and epitomize the ONE THING for today.
