“Should you find yourself in a chronically leaking boat, energy devoted to changing vessels is likely to be more productive than energy devoted to patching leaks.” _Warren Buffett, on selling losers
*****
There’s a difference between timely maintenance and repeated repairs.
Whether we are talking about people, projects, or property there is a certain amount of on-going maintenance that will be required to keep things healthy and moving in the right direction.
In spite of that, you can expect the occasional breakdown that will require repairs. That’s okay too.
But there comes a time that cost of repairs, measured against your ever-decreasing amount of time on this earth, makes it better for you to cut your losses and move on to other opportunities.
The ONE THING for today:
Don’t allow the comfort of the familiar or the pain of loss to rob you of the opportunities that await you. Sometimes its best to cut your losses and move forward.
Yes, indeed! C
