You don’t need a friend until…

You don’t need a friend…

until…

you need one.

And trust me, one day you will need one but if you have not invested in meaningful and quality friendships way ahead of the moment you actually need one, it will be to late.

It’s hard to walk with a full cup.

Yet our culture seems to focus far more on filling our cup then sharing our cup.

Surely there is someone you’d rather not leave behind. That someone is called a friend. As Jeremy Taylor, the 17th century cleric said, “Love is friendship set on fire.”

Surely there is someone you love enough to call friend. Don’t forget them while pursuing the good life. For what good is the “good life” if there is no one to share it with?

The ONE THING for today: If you wait to call out for a friend until you actually need one, it will be to late. Call a friend today and share a cup…

  1. Love the blog and photo of the cup of coffee. Actually had coffee with Cindy Burton this morning. Blessings, Claudia
