Skipping Stones

“When you do good, do it as if you were casting a stone into the depth of the sea.” _Dranafile “Drana” Bernai (The mother of Mother Teresa)

“Never accept a mouthful unless it is shared with others.” _Nikola Bojaxhiu (Father of Mother Teresa)

Some would say, “There are no free lunches.”

That’s not necessarily true; it’s up to the one giving away the lunches.

It’s amazing the opportunities to do good, add value, and make a difference when you don’t have to have a return on your investment and effort.

The ONE THING for today: Like skipping stones on the sea, let’s start this week by randomly flinging free lunches of good deeds and good words into the sea of humanity and see how many skips they take. “Sunk costs” are easy to bear when they’re dropping into the lives of people we care for.

Galatians 6:10 (NKJV)
10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
